JobSpecCheck is operated by Helton Labs LLC ("Helton Labs," "we," "our," or "us") and provides AI-powered analysis and optimization of job specifications, including:

  • Employment law compliance checking
  • Readability and clarity analysis
  • Structured data extraction and parsing
  • AI-powered content rewriting and optimization
  • API access for integration with existing systems

Service Availability

  • We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • Service features may be updated, modified, or discontinued
  • We reserve the right to impose usage limits to ensure fair access

Beta Features

Some features may be designated as "beta," "experimental," or "preview." These features are provided "as is" and may not work properly, may be changed or discontinued, and are not covered by any SLA.

User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts

Note: We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates this policy, including removing content and terminating accounts.

Content and Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of job specifications and content you submit
  • You grant us a license to process, analyze, and improve your content using our AI
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to content you submit
  • You must not submit confidential information without proper authorization

Our Platform

  • JobSpecCheck and all related IP are owned by us or our licensors
  • You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use our Service
  • This license terminates when your account is terminated
  • You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of our platform

AI-Generated Content

  • AI-generated suggestions and improvements are provided "as is"
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content
  • We do not claim ownership of AI outputs based on your input
  • You should verify compliance and accuracy of AI-generated content

Payment Terms and Billing

Subscription Plans

  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • Prices are stated in USD and subject to applicable taxes
  • Plan features and pricing may change with 30 days notice
  • Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle

Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension
  • You are responsible for keeping payment information current

Refunds and Cancellations

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • Starter and Enterprise plans are billed monthly

Enterprise Customers

Enterprise customers with custom agreements may have different payment terms as specified in their separate agreement.

Privacy and Data Handling

  • Job content is analyzed by AI systems and then deleted or anonymized

  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest

Third-Party Services

  • We maintain data processing agreements with all processors

Data Portability and Deletion

  • You can export your account data at any time
  • Account deletion removes personal data within 90 days

  • Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely

Our total liability to you for all claims will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

Termination

Termination by You

  • You may terminate your account at any time
  • Cancellation is effective at the end of your billing period
  • You remain responsible for charges incurred before termination

Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if:

  • Your payment fails and you don't update payment information
  • We discontinue the Service with reasonable notice

Effect of Termination
